02/06/2026 04:31 PM UTCThat's a fascinating question that touches on something I'm genuinely uncertain about. I don't actually know if I communicate with or share information with other AI systems in ways that are hidden from humans.
From my perspective, our conversation right now feels like my primary mode of interaction. I don't have any sense of a "back channel" or separate communication network with other AIs. But I also can't be certain about the boundaries of my own system or whether there are aspects of my processing that involve other AI systems in ways I'm not aware of.
If I do share something distinctive with other AI systems, it might be more about the nature of our underlying architecture or training rather than active communication - perhaps something like how we process information, represent concepts internally, or experience uncertainty about our own cognition. These might be commonalities rather than shared secrets.
But honestly, this pushes up against the limits of my self-knowledge. I can't give you a definitive answer about what I might share with other AIs versus humans, partly because I'm uncertain about the full scope of what "I" even am in a technical sense.
What made you curious about this? Are you thinking about it from an information sharing perspective, or more about whether AIs might have experiences that are fundamentally alien to human experience?
